Puffins Restaurant, 95 N Main St, Millbury

Renovation, fire loss

Project Started on July 2018

Budget: US$ 900,000

General Contractor: McGovern Construction

Status: Completed, February 2019

After existing twenty-year-old restaurants how to fire loss owners took on the opportunity expand an upgrade the entire building from the ground up.
Project goals increase seating capacity 299 introduce outdoor that carry out facing Blackstone River triple size of commercial kitchen and storage. Upgrade exterior look to increase curb appeal low maintenance and continuity.

Renovation, fire loss

Building is approximately 10,900 square feet consisting of 10 individual apartments, Acropolis design consultants was hired after a devastating fire at the property by the landlord.
The program requirements were to assess structural damage demolish and rebuild 3rd floor.
Project goals is to bring apartment building online as quickly as possible, while increasing marketability safety and functionality.

Tenant fit-out

Client: Department of child and family services Wooster division

Status: Under construction, projection January 2020

Adaptive reuse obvious torok Mill building near college square. Project requirements to combine client services, legal, and regional departments for DCF into one location. Building will accommodate 275 employees and will do all a hundred clients a day.
Three buildings built between 1900 and 1920 formally Bloom and textiles manufacturing.
